Professional American football linebacker Vince Biegel has shown what it means to belong to a line of football stars. The amount of resilience and passion he brings to the game has been so admirable. Biography of Vince Biegel
Vince Biegel was born in the Rapids of Wisconsin, Wisconsin on July 2, 1993. Raised in Marshfield, Wisconsin by his father Rock Biegel and his wife Jamie Biegel. Interestingly, his dad played football as a linebacker at Brigham Young University (BYU), his uncle TD played fullback like his dad at BYU. Likewise, Ken Biegel – his grandfather was a linebacker and offensive guard while his younger brother Hayden Biegel currently plays as an offensive tackle at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was named Vince after famous Packers coach Vince Lombardi. Vince is of American nationality and belongs to the white ethnicity.
He started playing football at an early age and attended Lincoln High School where he started his serious football career. During his high school career, Vince recorded a total of 172 tackles, 3 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles and 21 sacks. He won the Wisconsin Football Coaches Defensive Player of the Year Award as well as Gatorade State’s Player of the Year Award in 2011. Additionally, he was named a member of the schools football team All-USA secondary by USA Today the same year.
Scouted by numerous universities, including Iowa, Michigan State, Stanford, BYU, and University of Wisconsin-Madison, Biegel chose Wisconsin over other universities. He served as an outside linebacker for the Wisconsin Badgers football team for four seasons ending in 2016.
In his first year, he appeared in two games and was ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury. He received a medical redshirt that year and the following year he played 13 games with a record of 25 tackles and two sacks. He recorded his 2014 season in 14 games with a total of 56 tackles and 7.5 sacks. At the end of the season, Vince Biegel was named to the All-Big Ten 2nd Team by the media. Professional career
Vince Biegel was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the 2017 NFL Draft. He made it in the fourth round of the draft and was the 108th overall selection. Following an injury he sustained to the fifth metatarsal, Biegel was placed on the physically unable to perform list after signing his rookie contract in March 2017. He then joined the active roster eight months later. later, in November 2017.
During his rookie season, he played in nine games for the Packers, totaling 16 tackles and 11 solo tackles. He is expected to return to his best form in 2018, his second year.

In addition to his thriving football career, Vince is married to Sarah Panzenhagen. Like Vince, Sarah is also originally from Wisconsin and her family lives there as well. The two men met several years ago during their high school years. While Sarah has become a physical trainer, Vince is doing what he does best on the football field.
The duo walked down the aisle just a few days after Vince’s 24th birthday in July 2017. Their wedding took place before he started his professional career and attracted many family members and close friends. The gorgeous couple have been living a happily married life, they don’t have kids yet, but they may well have one in the future.
