BIOGRAPHY
While he was studying architecture, Mauricio Castillo ventured as a theater actor in the workshop of actor Gonzalo Correa. He later made his debut on television appearing in children’s programs such as Supervacaciones , Mi Planeta Azul and El club de Gaby , where in addition to being the host, he participated as a scriptwriter for the program. However, his participation in the Otro Rollo program (1995-2007) catapulted his career. Later he was invited to several television programs and series such as Big Brother VIP (2002) and was the owner of the Members on the Air program for ten years (2011-2021). As an actor, Casillo starred in projects such as ¡Qué madre, tan padre! (2006) and El bienamado (2017), in addition to participating in the successful series Mujeres assassinas (2008-2010) in the role of Forensic Gerardo Trejo, a role that he will repeat in 2022 in the new generation of Mujeres assassinas , a Sony Pictures production Television for Televisa.
