Tinglan Hong is a Chinese lady born and raised in Lishui, Zhejiang Province, China. Her mother is a local businesswoman and her father is also an entrepreneur. While still in school, Hong, as her friends described on a Chinese website, was a rebellious, fun-loving student.
Hong lived in China until 2003 when she decided to leave her homeland and move to the UK. She arrived in London and started working as a receptionist in a Chinese restaurant.
