Rainy weather caused a power outage for about 1,300 customers in the Haiku area around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, according to Hawaiian Electric.
Power was restored by around 7:50 a.m. once Hawaiian Electric crews made repairs to downed power lines and damaged electrical equipment near Five Corners and Kaupakalua Road after a large eucalyptus tree came down.
Crews also had to trim trees that made contact with power lines along Kauhikoa Road.
Power was restored to remaining small pockets of customers by 2:50 p.m., Hawaiian Electric said.
