BIOGRAPHY
In addition to studying at the Faculty of Architecture and appearing in some commercials, the Uruguayan actor Nicolás Furtado took several acting workshops and in 2006 he entered the Theater School of his country. In 2008 he participated in the feature film Masangeles starring Santiago Saravia. In 2010 he acted in Porque te Quiero Así , where he plays Ciro Schiaretti, son of Catherine Fulop’s character, and in the series Dance , in whose filming he met one of the producers of Dulce amour , which led him to emigrate to Argentina to participate in the novel between 2012 and 2013, in the role of Diego. In 2014 he played the role of Máximo in Somos familia and later starred in the series El Marginal on Argentine public television, broadcast on Netflix. Nicolás was also part of the main cast of the telenovela Educando a Nina broadcast in 2017 and the comedy film ¿Qué te gaming? (2019). Nicolás is nominated for the Platino Awards in the category of Best Male Performance in a Miniseries or Teleseries for his work in El Marginal .
