Cat Cora is a well-known American professional chef best known for her performances as an "Iron Chef" on Iron Chef America and the co-host of Around the World in 80 Plates. Cora was awestruck by her Greek ancestry and Southern roots. She compiled all of her experiences into a book titled Cat Cora's Kitchen, later published. This was Cora's first novel, and it was her first book to be published. Cat Cora attended the University of Southern Mississippi and earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and biology.
