Police are hunting for a man seen fleeing the scene of a suspected “targeted” shooting in Victoria’s southwest.
Emergency services were called to Freesia Court in the Geelong suburb of Whittington late Wednesday afternoon after reports a man had been shot.
A 55-year-old man was found injured at the scene, reported to be a neck wound, and rushed to Geelong hospital where the injury was deemed to be non-life-threatening.
On Thursday, a hospital spokesperson confirmed the Whittington man remained in a stable condition.
