Archie Yates made his acting debut in the 2019 satirical black comedy film Jojo Rabbit , playing Yorki, Jojo’s best friend in the film. For this performance, Yates was nominated at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards for Best Young Performance, although he did not take home the award. On August 6, 2019, Disney announced plans for a reboot of the Home Alone franchise on its Disney+ streaming service, and in December of that same year, Yates, Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney were announced as the cast for the new one. movie
